TNLR Remains Steadfast; org files second lawsuit against HHS & HUD

The Network/La Red (TNLR) has been named in a second lawsuit filed against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We are one of two member organizations referenced in the suit, as a named member program that could be directly impacted by the proposed conditions.

If these conditions were to be enforced, they would fundamentally undermine our mission and our ability to serve our communities. Just like the conditions in the first lawsuit we are named in against the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), complying would betray the survivors and marginalized communities we exist to support, and it would threaten the very programs that provide life-saving services.

Currently, a temporary restraining order has been granted, which means that we are not required to comply with these conditions while we await a final decision.

TNLR remains steadfast. We are fighting back against these attacks, we will continue to show up for our communities, and we will take every action necessary to ensure that survivors can access the care and support they need without fear or discrimination.
